The Most Outrageously Expensive Items in the World

The blogger’s note:  In response to a forwarded email entitled “The Most Outrageously Expensive Items in the World” (Refer: http://www.ba-bamail.com/content_10727/The_Most_Incredibly_Expensive_Items_in_the_World.aspx ), which included among other things the following 5 items as selected by the blogger:

(1)    The International Space Station is the most expensive object ever made by man. Hovering 380 kilometers above us, it is worth about 150 billion dollars.

     (2)    The most expensive watch in the world, the A. Lange Sohne Grand Complication. This immensely complicated (876 hand wrought parts, 7 complications and 14 functions) and precise watch can only be made by one man in the whole world, and it takes him a whole year just to make one! It can be yours with patience and $2.5 million dollars.

(3)    The most expensive jet in the world is the Airbus 318 Elite Private Jet and if you want it you better have 62 million and gas money.

    (4)    The most expensive car in the world, currently, is the Lamborghini Veneno, costing 4.6 million.

(5)    The most expensive computer in the world is the huge Milky Way 28243 Supercomputer in Guangzho, China, and would cost abotu $400 million to recreate.

The Great Sifu Dr. JB Lim gave his side of the story that amuses the blogger so much that he couldn’t help wanting to share with the readers of this blog as follows:

Thanks.

The most expensive purse in the world is my cheap RM 3.00 broken down plastic purse.  It has served me faithfully like a servant for 40 years already.  All I need is just rub and open it.

Dr. JB Lim's most expensive possession
Peweeh!  A genie will appear from my Old Purse like Aladdin and his Wonderful Old Lamp in Arabian Nights and give me all I want for a Thousand and One Nights, and much more!

That’s the most expensive possession I have in life. Here is the proof.

THUMBS UP TO YOU, DR. LIM!
