吃蘋果把皮削掉是常見的習慣,但這小動作卻讓大眾失去攝取到蘋果皮的營養成分。美國愛荷華大學 Christopher Adams教授發現,蘋果皮的營養素高過果肉,其中的熊果酸更是具有強化人體肌肉,以及減低體脂肪並維持身材的功用。
