Attendance At Tsun Jin Old Pupils’ Association Annual General Meeting 2019

As a Senior Middle 3 graduate of Tsun Jin High School KL in 1973 (高中第10届), I joined the KL & Selangor Tsun Jin Old Pupils’ Association ( 隆雪循人校友会) as a life member in Sept. 23, 1982.  

But shy to admit, I haven’t attended a single Annual General Meeting of the Association in the past 36 years.

For the fun of it, I invited high school classmate Wong Yoke Meng (who joined the Association only last year) to attend this year Annual General Meeting held at 2.00pm, Sunday, July 7, 2019 at its premises at Taman Billion, Cheras, for the first time in my life.

On Sunday, July 7, 2019, Wong came to BSL to give me a car lift at 12.25pm and we reached the Association at 12.55pm. We had a light meal of noodle, curry chicken, vege and etc. and chit-chatted with a senior 吴南美 (graduate of the class of 1964 高中第1届).  

The meeting started at about 2.05pm and ended at 2.50pm.  As it was not an election year, the attendees were not many. During the meeting, I rose a couple of times to raise a few questions like the lack of report on the current total number of membership, query about the lack of membership list being attached together with the Notice of Meeting in the past and suggestion on updating events and activities in the Association’s FaceBook which was last updated in August, 2018.

Wong and I left at 3.00pm after the meeting and I find the attendance enjoyable.
