How to evaluate the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccine? A Mystery to the Public

A lot has been claimed on the efficacy of the various vaccines against Covid-19 published online, some even claimed they were also published in the Lancet.

They ranged from 55 to 95 % efficacy. We will not discuss them here because of their length. 

I went through many of these claims to find out the methodology they used to evaluate, but I found none of them was reliable. They were very secretive. 

What almost all did was, they claimed they tested them on thousands of subjects in various countries and gave the data they collected. 

But none spelt out clearly which procedure they used in their studies which is the most important criteria when we want to evaluate the efficacy of a drug or a vaccine. 

Normally what we researchers do to compare, is to use the test groups matched against groups as controls.

None of these claims I searched spelt that out. 

What we medical researchers normally would do is to take for instance, 3 groups of a population, the larger the population size the more reliable. 

These 3 groups are matched up with similar groups in terms of age, gender, body weight, ethnicity, physical health and constitution among others. 

All must be healthy and non-infected or suffer from any disease especially chronic conditions, and must not be on any medication.

Next, we will infect all three groups with Covid-19 virus using the same load which of course is highly unethical. 

Suppose we can ignore bioethics, and let us just assume, we will use group A without any vaccination, or any kind of treatment if they show symptoms of the disease. That shall be our negative control group. 

Next, we shall "vaccinate" group B with a placebo, let's say with saline. That would be our positive control group.

In the third group we will then give the real vaccine under test, before all groups came down with Covid-19.

Neither the people who vaccinated group B or C, nor the recipients would know which is the real vaccine and which is the placebo.

That would be the first blind control. 

We will ask an independent investor (2nd blind control) to examine and evaluate all the clinical presentations, virological, immunological, biochemical, radiological, and all other data deemed necessary in all three groups. 

The data collected will then be statistically analyzed using various criteria such as t or student test, p- values, confidence intervals odds ratio...etc to look if there is a statistically real differences, or whether the difference was by chance within a certain p value. 

This approach as research methodology to evaluate the efficacy of a drug or vaccine is officially and universally accepted. 

But i tried hard as a former medical research myself to find out how they conducted the study, but none of them spell this out to my disappointment.

They merely claimed they found them at various levels of efficacies.

Somehow they tried to avoid this very crucial question on the methodology.

Maybe they are trying to hide something?

All of them merely claimed they took several thousands of subjects and inoculated them with their vaccines, and found the vaccines gave various levels of efficacies????

This to me such claim is highly unscientific and highly unacceptable.

Maybe they were trying to hide from the ignorant and non-scientific public and even hide from the ordinary doctors who were never in research and have no clue. 

Maybe they did do it properly, but only gave the data to the authorities and the purchasers? I do not know. 

Whatever I could search unofficially on my own, I find none of their claims was scientifically reliable or can be accepted. 

I am very doubtful with all their claims when they do not wish to reveal how they carry out their studies. 

Naturally they cannot use human subjects to infect the groups as i said this is professionally highly unethical. This would amount to attempted mass murder. 

But they may claim they used animal models.

Maybe they managed to hoodwink the lay public, but unfortunately no animals among the estimated 10 million species of life on Earth is affected by this virus, accept some like bats and pangolins or even camels harboring them as healthy vectors. 

Only us, the human race is being attacked. 

That speaks volumes to me the biological purpose of this pandemic which I will not wish to explain.
