Half-day Trip to Bukit Bintang and TRX on January 13, 2024

TRX City Park -  rooftop park at The Exchange TRX

As suggested by Wai Kit, Soh Ai and I went along with him to go for a half-day trip downtown by MRT on Saturday, 13/01/2024.

We left home at 11.30am by car to MRT Station at Batu 11 Cheras and parked our car there. We took MRT to Bukit Bintang visited places like Lot 10, Farenheit 88, Eslite Spectrum and Pavilion, Bukit Bintang.

We had lunch at food court at LEvel 1 of Pavilion Elite. I found a stall called “Dubai” selling middle-east food very interesting and purposely took a selfie in front of the stall and sent to my friends jokingly saying “I’m also involved in Langkah Dubai”. But I chose to eat white curry mee at a nearby Penang Signature stall.  The ,mee was quite tasty and it cost RM17.90.

Later we had ice-cream blended drinks (vanilla/hazelnut/double chocolate) at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Pavilion Bintang Circle.  3 glasses cost us (including 10% + 6% tax and service charge) RM60.30.

We left Bukit Bintang area by taking MRT to The Exchange TRX which is only one stop away.  This was my first visit and second visit for Soh Ai and Wai Kit.

I didn’t find this newly opened shopping mall any extraordinary compared to other existing ones  like MyTown, Pavilion etc.  The City Park is also similar to nearby LaLaport.

We left TRX at 5.40pm and took MRT back to Batu 11 Cheras. The train was initially packed when we boarded, but the passengers eased out after a few stations later.  We returned home at 6.10pm.
