My wife Soh Ai and two sons Wai Kit, Wai Yu and I went back to my in-law’s house at Rantau Panjang, Selama, Perak from Friday 20,/1/2023 till Tuesday 24/1/2023 to celebrate the CNY of the Rabbit. Below is a very brief account with selected photos of our trip:

DAY1 - JANUARY 20, 2023 (廿九)

We had our breakfast at 45 Sky coffee shop at BSL at about 8.30am before leaving for north.  The Plus North-South highway was quite smooth all the way.

3.50pm  We stopped by Kilang Kopi Antong (reputed to be the oldest coffee mill in Malaysia since 1933) for a visit of Antongcafe as well as the adjacent villa “Changchun Pu (长春圃)” where the founder of Republic of China Dr. Sun Yat-sen (孙中山 1866-1925) once lived with his revolutionary partner/mistress (革命伴侣/侧室) Chen Cuifen (陈粹芳 1873-1960) once stayed in 8A, Jalan Assam Kumbang, Taiping.

We reached Rantau Panjang at about 6.30pm.
