Itinerary of Turkey Discovery Tour in October/November, 2019 (10天7晚探索土耳其之旅)

I will be traveling on a 10D7N package tour with my wife and 5 other friends to visit Turkey from October 27 till November 5, 2019.  

The sight-seeing places and/or activities as provided in the itinerary are as follows with indicative pictures taken from the internet for reference:

Day 1: K.L. (吉隆坡) → Almaty (阿拉木图) → Istanbul (伊斯坦布尔)

Air Astana, the flag carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based in Almaty, is the plane we are taking for this tour.

 

Day 2: 伊斯坦布尔(Istanbul)→安卡拉(Ankara)→卡帕多奇亚(Cappadocia)

1. 阿塔图尔克陵墓 (Ataturk Mausoleum - mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder and 1^st President of the Republic of Turkey)

2.  图兹盐湖 (Tuz Gölu Salt Lake)

Selçuklu Evi Cave Hotel, Cappadocia 

Day 3: 帕多奇亚(Cappadocia)

3.  Hot Air Ballon Ride (Optional/Self-paid) (熱氣球 - 自费选项)

4. 鸽子山谷 (Pigeon Valley)

5.  帕夏贝谷 (Pasabag Valley - highly remarkable earth pillars in the middle of a vineyard, hence “Pacha’s vineyard”.  Also called the Monks Valley)

6. 迪夫里特峡谷 (Dervent (Imagination) Valley - resembling a lunar landscape) 

7. 乌奇希萨尔城堡村 (Uchisar Castle Village - steep streets and hills)

8. 阿瓦诺斯陶艺村 (Avanos Pottery Village - famous for distinctive red earthenware pottery, situated on the banks of Turkey’s longest river, the Kizilirmak or the Red River)

9. 地下城市 (Underground City - a place of refuge for 15,000 Christians, 8-storey city connected by 30km of corridors and passageways) 

10. 格雷梅山谷 (Goreme Valley)

Day 4 卡帕多奇亚(Cappadocia)→孔亚(Konya)→棉花堡(Pamukkale)

11. 孔亚 (Konya)丝绸之路的古代商队驿站 (Tepesi Delik Han Ancient Caravanserai - roadside inn along the Silk Road)

12. 梅乌拉那博物馆 (Mevlana Museum)

Day 5 棉花堡(Pamukkale)→塞尔丘克(Selcuk)→库萨达斯(Kusadasi)

13. 希拉波里斯古城 (Ancient City of Hierapolis - a mixture of Pagan, Roman, Jewish and early Christian influences)

14. 棉花堡 (Cotton Castle)

15. 艾菲索斯古城 (Ephesus Ancient City) - 希腊罗马古迹城

16. 圣母玛利亚之家 (House of Virgin Mary)

Day 6 库萨达斯(Kusadasi)→恰纳卡莱(Canakkale)

17. Canakkale 特洛伊木马 (Trojan Horse)

Day 7 恰纳卡莱(Canakkale)→伊斯坦布尔(Istanbul)

18. 蓝色清真寺 (Blue Mosque)

19. 君士坦丁堡赛马场 (Hippodrome of Constantinople - Circus of the capital of

Byzantine Empire)

20.  博斯普鲁斯海峡游船 (Bosphorus River Cruise)

Day 8 伊斯坦布尔(Istanbul)→阿拉木图(Almaty)

21. 圣索菲亚大教堂 (St. Sophia Church - former Eastern Orthodox Church)

22. 托普卡泊皇宫 (Topkapi Palace - primary residence of the Ottoman sultans)

Day 9 阿拉木图(Almaty)→吉隆坡

23.  Transit/Self-paid Day Trip at Alamty (former capital of Kazakhstan) (阿拉木图)

Day 10: Home Sweet Home
