On Friday morning, 19/4/2024, Soh Ai and I together with our walking buddies Tang Chee Leong, Lim Poh Suan, Goh Boon Keong and Tiu Sok Chin took MRT train to MyTown Shopping Centrre/IKEA Cheras from Bukit Dukung MRT station at 10.00am.
At 10.30am, we arrived at MRT Cochrane station and walked to MyTown shopping Centre.
We had light breakfast at Swedish Restaurant, Level 1 of IKEA. My wife and I shared a plate of nasi lemak pandan with fried chicken wing (RM5.90), spring rolls (2 x RM1.20), mushroom soup (RM4.50) and coffee (FOC). Total RM13.40. I also went down to Swedish Cafe at ground floor and bought a pack of 6 pc. curry puffs (RM7.80) to be shared among 6 of us.
After breakfast, we went window-shopping at MyTown Shopping Centre. From Uniqlo, I bought a reversible parka (派克大衣 - windproof and water-resistant jacket with a hood) for RM179.90, and from Decathlon a pair of jogging shoe 9RM59) and a traveling bag 55L (RM59).
Next, we took MRT from Cochrane station to Bukit Bintang station to visit Sungei Wang Plaza.
We had curry mee (RM9.50) and honey lemon tea (RM3.80) at Coffee Minggle (海南茗家) at Level 3 at about 3.30pm.
We left Sungei Wang Plaza at about 4.30pm and took MRT to Stadium Kajang station for a taste of Kajang satay.
At 5.00pm, we patronized Sate Kajang Hj. Samsuri where Soh Ai and I shared 10 pc beef satay (RM1.65 ea), kuah kacang and nasi impit (RM3.00), a coconut (RM5.50) and bawang or onion (RM0.50). Total RM25.50 as dinner.
We left MRT Stadium Kajang station at 6.00pm to MRT Bukit Dukung station where we promptly took a KL Rapid bus back to BSL. We returned home after braving the heavy rain at 6.45pm.
