At 8.35am today
Wed. December 20, 2017, my wife Soh Ai and I left home to take RapidKL bus. We boarded the bus at 8.45am and alighted at one stop before Puduraya at Jalan Pudu at 10.00am. We walked to Tung Shin
Hospital where Soh Ai
consulted her doctor about the blood test report for thyroid. The consultation was fast because the blood
test was done earlier at a clinic in BSL. And by 10.45am, we could leave the hospital
and go for our leisure trip in town.

Taking a bus from BSL |
We took mixed
beef noodle (牛杂面, each bowl RM10) at Lai Foong coffee shop (丽丰茶室) at Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, as
the shop新九如牛腩面that we
wanted to patronize was closed on every Wednesday.

After that, we
visited Central Market for a short while before proceeding to Jalan
Petaling. We bought one whole piece of
Sze Ngan Chye salty duck 四眼仔咸鸭 (RM56) and 鸭脚包(2 x RM2.50 each), Oloiyah dried
pork meat我来也猪肉干(300g for
RM31.60) and Traditional Hainanese kaya roll传统海南加央卷(RM6 per box).

Waiting for bus to return home |
We took a bus at Hub Lebuh Pudu at 12.15pm and returned home at 1.40pm.
I found that for me the public transport by bus from my house to town (say Pasar Seni) is more direct and cheaper (RM1.20 per trip) than by taking the MRT. For MRT ride, I have to take a shuttle bus to Bkt. Dukung MRT station (bus fare RM 1) and the MRT fare is RM1.90 from Bkt Dukung to Pasar Seni. Of course, bus ride is more time-consuming and less comfortable compared to MRT ride.
