Angkasa Jurutera Perunding Ex-colleagues' Get-together Dinner on 15/02/2020

A get-together dinner of some 30 ex-colleagues of Angkasa Jurutera Perunding Sdn. Bhd. (AJP) was held at Starlight Seafood Restaurant, P.J. on Saturday, 15^th February, 2020.  Many of us have not met one another for a long time since we separately left the company at different time.  I for one worked in AJP for 4 years and 5 months from May, 1982 till October, 1986.  

The participants are: TP Ng, CK Cheong, Chai Bui Lun (the organizers), Mr. Woo Hin Wai (our former boss, MD of AJP), Eddie Ng, Janice Sow, Chooi Oi Mei, Clairen Tang, Alex Lai, Tan Chor Hoe, Shin YK, Eddie Goh, Ching, Steven Ong, YS Chong, Lorna Chong, MK Lim, Kenny Looi, Ooi Kim Tee, Kong Seh Yik, Kong Hock Mong, Melinda Chia, Catherine Chan, Carrie Liew, Kok Hon Man, Nicholas Chin, Patricia Lee, Andy Chong, Ling Liong Lai and me.

There were 3 tables of us and the dinner started at 7.30pm and finished at about 9.30pm. Each of us contributed RM45 for the cost of the dinner. Only CK and Janice took to the dance floor.  We had a group photo after the dinner to commemorate our gathering.

It was a pleasant get-together among we AJP ex-colleagues as the last gathering was held in 2015 (refer: https://taionn.blogspot.my/2015/09/a-memorable-get-together-dinner-of.html).  Mr. Woo suggested that such gathering be made an annual event, while TP suggested Janice helps organize the next meet and make it a bigger one.

Mr. Woo shared a piece of health tips written on paper “7 Doctors Within Yourself That You Must Consult” (from Stanford University professor), namely: (1) Sunlight, (2) Oxygen (breathing), (3) Sleep, (4) Nutrition, (5) Exercise, (6) Stress and (7) Socialize.
