Secret of Stress Management

A young lady confidently walked around the room while reading and explaining stress management to an audience with a raised glass of water, and everyone knew she was going to ask the ultimate question: 'half empty or half full?'.....

She fooled them all...

"How heavy is this glass of water?" she inquired with a smile.

Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.


She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem.  If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance. In each case it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes."

She continued, "And that's the way it is with stress. If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be able to carry on."

"As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.  When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden - holding stress longer and better each time practiced.

So, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down.  Don't carry them through the evening and into the night... pick them up tomorrow.

Whatever burdens you're carrying now, let them down for a moment.  Relax, pick them up later, after you've rested.  Life is short. Enjoy it and the now 'supposed' stress that you've conquered!"

Remember, STRESS is something we do to ourselves!

1.  Accept the fact that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue!

2   Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

3   Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

4   Drive carefully... It's not only cars that can be recalled by their makers...

5   If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

6   If you lend someone £20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

7   It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

8   Never buy a car you can't push.

9   Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

10  Nobody cares if you can't dance.

11  Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

12  The second mouse gets the cheese.

13   When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

14   Birthdays are good for you.  The more you have, the longer you live.

15   You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

16  Some mistakes are too much fun to make only once.

17   We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull.  Some have weird names and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

18   A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

19   Have an awesome day and know that someone thought about you today.

原来秋葵是糖尿病克星!

秋葵 (lady finger) ,又名六角豆(Bhindi)。有植物伟哥之称,也是糖尿病的克星。上个月,在一个电视节目中我获悉一种糖尿病的治疗方法。

由于我是个糖尿病患者,我尝试了而它非常有效,我的血糖现在已得到了控制。实际上我已经减少了我的药量。
拿两条六角豆并切除头尾两端部分,再沿长身中间界一小刀,然后将这两条六角豆放入一杯清水﹝室温﹞中,盖好并在室温下放置过夜。

清晨,在早餐前从水中取出丢掉两条六角豆并饮用此水。每日坚持如此。在两个星期内,你将看到血糖降低的惊人效果。
我的妹妹已摆脱了她的糖尿病。她已注射了多年胰岛素,但当每天早上服用六角豆并持续数月后,她已停用了胰岛素,而每天坚持服用六角豆。她每晚将六角豆切碎,加入水中并在第二天早晨将它喝光。尝试一下,即使并没有对你起多大作用也不会带来任何伤害,但由于多数案例是慢性作用的,在看到效果之前你需要坚持服用数月。

糖尿病的病人似有日渐增多的趋势,除了中、西医的药物治疗之外,应该注意饮食疗法,可以使病情缓解同时可以防止病情的恶化,一般在临床上常被推荐的食疗有:山药及秋葵。今将秋葵的相关资讯介绍如下供大家参考:


秋葵(学名:Abelmoschusesculentus)又名六角豆、黄秋葵、黄蜀葵、羊角豆

       一、秋葵的主要功用:

             1.       保护胃壁黏液

      它黏液裡,除了含了丰富的营养成分外,可以附着在胃黏膜上,保护胃壁,就是俗话说的「顾胃」。

       2.  预防大肠癌

       秋葵黏黏的汁液裡,含有水溶性纤维果胶、半乳聚糖,以及阿拉伯树胶,这三种成分都属于水溶性膳食纤维,除了可以降血压、帮助消化,对预防大肠癌也有帮助。

3.       钙含量多比牛奶好吸收

       100公克秋葵为例,钙含量就有80100毫克,跟等重的鲜奶不相上下。不同的是,秋葵对钙的吸收利用率可达五到六成,比牛奶来得好,对素食人口、发育中的小朋友,或是喝牛奶会拉肚子的人来说,是很好的钙质来源。

       二、注意事项:

         它的属性偏寒凉,脾胃虚寒、容易腹泻或排软便的人,最好不要多吃。
          秋葵属寒性食品,阴虚体质者不宜过量;肠胃功能较差者,过食可能造成腹泻。
        秋葵极易受到擦伤,擦伤后很快就会变黑,挑选或储存时,都要单个取放,不要挤压。放冰箱前最好用保鲜袋装好,并尽量让它平排躺置。

三、秋葵对糖尿病的功效

   服用秋葵可以使糖尿病的症状减轻,血糖可以得到控制

   服用方法:拿两条六角豆并切除头尾两端部分,再沿长身中间界一小刀,然后将这两条六角豆放入一杯清水﹝室温﹞中,盖好并在室温下放置过夜。清晨,在早餐前从水中取出丢掉两条六角豆并饮用此水。另外的服用方法即每晚上将两条六角豆切碎,并加入开水中(约一碗水)并在第二天早晨将它喝光,每日坚持如此一般两个星期后既可看到血糖降低的效果,有糖尿病的病人不妨一试。

   如果服用秋葵而会造成腹泻者,可以改服用山药。如血糖很高者须同时配合中西药的服用效果才会在稳定中进步。

专家提醒天然复合酵素可以治疗糖尿病:

糖尿病是由于胰岛素分泌失调或胰脏发炎致使胰岛素分泌减少,引起对糖分代谢障碍的一种疾病,其结果是无法代谢的糖分随尿液排出体外,而不能储存体内备用,所以病人随时补充糖分营养,但又不能过量,否则会增加病情,是极为折磨的一种病症。糖尿病本身并不可怕。但是由于对糖分及各种营养代谢的障碍,使体内长期欠缺葡萄糖(单醣类)及养分,以致体内器官如肝脏、肾脏、心脏,慢慢衰竭而死,这才是可怕。
这种慢性疾病,是我国十大疾病死因之一,尤其现在食物丰富的社会,罹患糖尿病,治愈的机会就很渺茫了,因为目前一般医师治疗的方法,是采用注射胰岛素的治标方法而已,只能使病人暂时解除痛苦,不但不能根本治疗,且会使病情日渐加重,如果改为酵素治疗,则将使患者重获生机,因为酵素的奥妙能有效地调整胰岛素正常的分泌,这才是根本的治疗方法。但是在治疗的过程中一定要有耐心,必须要坚持到完全治愈为止,因为治疗慢性疾病,必须假以时日,否则半途而废,必前功尽弃。
