Tsun Jin High School Graduating Classes of 1973 Lunch Gathering on 15/09/2025

In conjunction with Victor Hoe (何祥荣)’s return from Taiwan on Sunday, 14/09/2025 (for a week until 21/09/2025), a reunion lunch gathering among high school classmates/schoolmates was organized at 12.00pm, Monday, 15/09/2025, at Kai Mun Food Corner (启民小厨), Taman Midah, K.L.

Hoe and I were classmates from Senior Middle 1 to 3, Tsun Jin High School, K.L (吉隆坡循人中学), viz. 高一A (1971), 高二至三理科班 (Science Class, 1972 - 1973). He was in Class A from Junior Middle 1 to 3, while I was in Class B.

A few other schoolmates from the Commerce Class (商料班) also attended.

A total of 20 classmates/schoolmates attended and they were:

It was an enjoyable gathering as many of us haven’t met one another for decades after graduation. Too many things to reminisce and talk about.

The dishes were delicious and the bill was equally divided and each of us (except the guest-of-honour Victor Hoe) paid RM50. We dismissed at 2.00pm.

AJP Ex-colleagues Reunion Lunch on September 5, 2025

A reunion lunch of ex-colleagues of Angkasa Jurutera Perunding Sdn. Bhd. (AJP, which I joined from May 2, 1982 till October 31, 1986) was organized by Lee SE at 12.30pm, Gold Dragon City Restaurant, Taman Paramount, P.J.

The three most senior ex-colleagues present were Johnny Wong (85 yo, then Director), Chai Bui Lun (85 yo, then Head of Structural Engineering Section and my mentor) and Raymond Kok Hon Mun (79 yo, then Office Manager).  

Others present were: CK Cheong (& his 27 yo son), Lee SE, Ching CK, Mack, Phang AL, MK Lim, CK Lee, Kenny Looi, Alex Lai, YW Lee, KK Ng, Steven Ong and Melinda Chia (the only lady). Total no. of participants was 18 taking up two tables.

The dishes were very sumptuous including: shark fin soup with crab meat, crispy chicken with Thai sauce, deep-fried spare ribs, butter prawns, steamed red snapper fish, braised mushroom with fungi and fish curd, Hokkien mee, sea coconut with soya milk and Japanese mochi.  

CK Cheong was very generous for footing the bill for all of us, in spite of our suggesting to split and share the bill.

A large birthday cake was also brought in by the organizer for us to celebrate the belated birthdays for Johnny (April) and Chai (August).

The lunch ended at 2.30pm and we really had a very good time among ourselves sharing past and present moments of our lives!
